Important Dates

About Recruitment

• Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Metropolitan Transport Corporation Chennai, and State Express Transport Corporation Tamil Nadu have released apprenticeship vacancies for 2026-27.
• A total of 1,518 apprenticeship training slots are available for Graduate Engineering, Diploma Engineering, and Non-Engineering Graduate candidates.
• Eligible candidates must have passed the prescribed degree or diploma during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or May 2026 and must belong to Tamil Nadu.
• The apprenticeship training duration is one year under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973.
• Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month and Diploma Apprentices will receive ₹10,900 per month.

• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: 438 posts
• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): 623 posts

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech with First Class for Engineering Apprentice posts
• Diploma in Engineering/Technology for Technician Apprentice posts
• BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BBM/BCA or equivalent for Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice posts

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for certificate verification
• No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible
• Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected
