About Recruitment
- Northeast Frontier Railway has invited online applications for recruitment against Sports Quota under Notification No. 04/2026.
- A total of 56 vacancies are available in Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Eligible candidates can apply online from 25 July 2026 to 24 August 2026.
- Selection will be based on a Sports Trial followed by an Interview.

Eligibility
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed educational qualification, age limit and sports achievement norms mentioned in the notification.
- Sports achievements considered must be from recognized events held on or after 01 April 2024.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on 01 January 2027.
Pay Level
- Posts are available under Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
