- U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, Department of Space invites online applications for 410 Apprentice vacancies for the training period 2026-27.
- Vacancy distribution: Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech.) - 220 posts, Technician Apprentice (Diploma) - 120 posts, Commercial Practice Apprentice - 70 posts.
- Stipend: ₹12,300/- per month for Graduate Apprentices; ₹10,900/- per month for Technician and Commercial Practice Apprentices.
- Eligibility: Candidates who passed out during the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 as regular students are eligible.

Educational Qualification & Age/Passing Criteria
- Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech. in relevant discipline from a recognized University.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline from a recognized Board.
- Commercial Practice Apprentice: Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board.
- Only candidates passed out in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 through regular courses are eligible.
- Candidates who cleared their qualification prior to 2021 or are currently pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
Terms of Engagement
- Apprenticeship period is 12 months from the date of contract execution under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- This training does not guarantee or confer any right to regular employment at URSC or ISRO.
- Candidates with 1 year or more prior work experience or prior apprenticeship training are ineligible.

- 1Register/Enroll on the NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) with required documents to generate a NATS Enrolment Number.
- 2Log in to the UMANG Portal (https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/) and search for 'URSC Apprenticeship'.
- 3Click on 'Apply for Position' and fill in all required details, compulsorily entering your NATS Enrolment Number.
- 4Upload required scanned documents including photograph, signature, qualifying degree/diploma certificates, caste/EWS/disability certificates (if applicable).
- 5Review all entered information carefully and submit the online application form before 28th August 2026 (11:59 PM).
