About Recruitment

• Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Trainee (Library) post on a contractual basis.
• Selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend/salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• Candidates possessing a Master's degree in Library & Information Science (M.LIS./M.Lib.Sc.) or equivalent with First Class are eligible to apply.

Eligibility & Experience

• Master's degree in Library & Information Science (M.LIS./ M. Lib.Sc.) or equivalent with First Class.
• Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 system from a recognized University/Institute with consistently good academic performance.
• Working knowledge of MARC21, DDC, Web Design, DSpace, and Koha will be given preference.

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 10 August 2026.
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and differently-abled candidates as per Government of India norms.

Stipend

• Rs. 15,000 Per Month
