About Recruitment

• ICAR Central Rice Research Institute has released the recruitment notification for 1 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) post.
• Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview on 04 August 2026.
• Candidates with M.Sc. (Ag.) specializing in Plant Breeding, Plant Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, or Plant Physiology with a 4/5-year Bachelor's degree are eligible.
• Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Basic Science, a 3-year Bachelor's degree and 2-year Master's degree, NET qualification, and two years of research experience in the agricultural field are also eligible.
• PhD in the relevant subjects is desirable.
• The maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women, with age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
• The selected Senior Research Fellow will receive Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per rules.

Salary
