About Recruitment
Andhra Pradesh High Court has announced 4 vacancies for the post of Law Clerk.
Candidates with a Degree in Law from a recognized University are eligible to apply.
The Law degree must have been obtained through a qualifying regular law programme as specified in the notification.
Candidates must have passed the Degree in Law within 2 years immediately preceding the date of notification for selection of Law Clerks.
Candidates must not be pursuing any other regular course of study or profession or occupation that requires them to be away from their place of work.
Candidates enrolled as Advocates must suspend their practice before joining and keep it suspended until completion of Law Clerkship.
The maximum age limit is 30 years, with age relaxation as per applicable rules.
The appointed Law Clerks will receive an honorarium of Rs. 35,000 per month.
Eligible candidates must submit their applications through offline mode on or before 04 August 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Degree in Law from a recognized University, having studied a 5-year regular stream after completion of 10+2 years of schooling, or a regular degree course after 10+2 followed by a 3-year regular law degree from a University or college affiliated to a recognized University.
Passed the Degree in Law within 2 years immediately preceding the date of notification for selection of Law Clerks.
Must not be pursuing any other regular course of study or profession or occupation that requires the candidate to be away from the place of work.
If enrolled as an Advocate, the candidate shall suspend practice before joining and keep it suspended until demitting Law Clerkship.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit: 30 years.
The age must not have been attained as on 1st January or 1st July preceding the last date fixed for submission of applications.
Age relaxation will be provided as per applicable rules.
Salary / Honorarium
Law Clerks will receive an honorarium of Rs. 35,000 per month.
